Welcome to Mt. Zion Episcopal Church
in
Hedgesville, West Virginia
|
|
Mt. Zion sits in the middle of tiny, old town Hedgesville--a small,
historic red brick church with its doors wide open to visitors and new members alike. Even George Washington worshipped
here!
|
 |
Mt. Zion is part of the Episcopal Diocese of West
Virginia. As such, we are involved in the church's mission in the community. We believe God calls each of
us to carry our faith into the wider world and to respond to the needs we recognize there.
Mt. Zion is the Mother Church in this area of what was once
Virginia. Its history dates to the late 18th century. For more details use the Our History link to the left.
If you need pastoral assistance, please use the e-mail link
(to the right). This link is monitored daily and you will receive an immediate response.
Mt. Zion's Sanctuary and office are handicap accessible. Our
restroom accommodates a walker but not a wheelchair.
