Mt. Zion welcomed the public to visit its heritage on Saturday, June
4th, in conjunction with the North Mountain Arts Festival held in Hedgesville. The day was warm but pleasant and many
visitors passed through town and stopped at our church.

This picture, taken in early morning, shows nothing
of the crowds that appeared in town later in the day. All in all a successful day for Hedgesville and Mt. Zion.

Mt. Zion's Spring Picnic, 2011
|

|
| Food is second only to the camaraderie |
|
Hungry folks lined up at the groaning board, including exchange
student, Andrei, from Krygyzstan. He loves American food!
|
|
|
Episcopal cooks are renowned for their food and
this picnic was no exception. Some tried to eat and talk, others talk and eat. Plenty of both were accomplished. Many
topics emerged to talk about and no one avoided the dreaded "religion and politics". All left happy, spiriturally
and physically refreshed. (Unfortunately, there are no pictures of the host and hostess--busy barbequing
and taking pictures!)

| Now you can talk |
